Two men are headed to Bell County Jail today after Killeen police arrested them in an armed robbery.
The Bell County District Attorney's Office filed aggravated robbery charges against Joshua Kalani Douglas, 21, and Jason Whitney Laird, 27.
Killeen police arrested them in the robbery of a woman outside of the Residence Inn and Suites, at 400 East Central Texas Expressway.
Shortly before midnight Wednesday, a woman was near her vehicle outside the hotel when an armed male demanded money from her, a Killeen police news release stated.
The robber fled in a light-colored vehicle driven by another male.
A nearby officer spotted a gold Chevrolet Impala near Trimmier Road and Lowes Boulevard.
The officer stopped the Chevrolet and detained the two occupants in the 200 block of East Jasper Drive.
The victim fingered the occupants and the vehicle as being involved in the robbery, the release stated.
Killeen police withheld the suspects' photos today while investigators try to link them to other robberies in Killeen, Harker Heights and Temple.
One of several robberies was reported outside the Hilton Garden Inn in Killeen around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin set bond at $100,000 each today. Douglas and Laird are being transferred to Bell County Jail.
