Killeen PD arrests 10 people on suspected prostitution

Killeen Daily HeraldKilleen police arrested 10 people suspected of prostitution activities between noon and 11 p.m. Friday.
Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned all 10 on various prostitution charges on Saturday. Their bonds varied between $3,000 and $5,000.
Lareginald Rayshaw Billups, Jimmy Dewayne Lewis,
Patrice Antoinette White, all of Killeen; and Lenon Hopson, address unknown, were arraigned on charges of prostitution. Cooke set bonds at $3,000 each.
Freddie B. Bush, of Pflugerville, was arraigned on a charge of promotion of prostitution. Cooke set his bond at $5,000. Jean Michelle Vance, Mary Ann Twiggs, Alice Renee Parker, Janette Renee Wilson and Cheri Lucille Howard, all of Killeen, were arraigned on second-offense charges of prostitution. Cooke set their bonds at $5,000 each.
According to arrest affidavits, police posed as both prostitutes and Johns to make the 10 arrests.
Those arrested either offered or requested between $15 and $60 for a form of sexual conduct to be performed, the affidavits stated.
