Roos to face Alamo Heights on Friday Posted On: Sunday, Nov. 15 2009 05:49 AM Killeen's second-round Division I-4A playoff game against Alamo Heights will be Friday at 7:30 p.m., most likely at Dripping Springs, where the Roos (9-2) have already won once this season.

Killeen coach Sam Jones said he expects to finalize the location, as well as which team will be the home team, Monday morning.

"We've played there before, scored 48 points there, we've won there before so there are a lot of pluses there (for us)," Jones said.

Alamo Heights (8-3), which shut out San Antonio Brackenridge 35-0 in its bi-district playoff game Friday night, plays Killeen in the area round for the second straight year. The Mules lost to Killeen, 19-16, last year at Dragon Stadium in Round Rock, where the Roos beat Austin LBJ 48-26 Friday night.

Killeen's 48-42 win over Dripping Springs at the site on Oct. 2 was the start of the Roos' current six-game win streak and their first road game of the season.
