A 54-year-old man is dead following a one-vehicle accident in Harker Heights this morning.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced the man who was driving a silver truck dead at 9:15 a.m. today.

The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 190 right past the Harker Heights city limit signs bordering Nolanville.
