Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and its primary care clinics will modify operating hours Tuesday, Nov. 10, to allow staff and employees to participate in the Fort Hood Memorial Service for victims of the shooting last week.

All services at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center are curtailed beginning at 11 a.m. Patients who have appointments after 1100 Tuesday were contacted and appointments were rescheduled. If you were not contacted, please call the Patient Appointment Service to reschedule.

The following Darnall facilities are closed Tuesday: Thomas Moore Health Clinic, Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Services (Bldg. 2242), Robertson Blood Center, and Social Work Services (Bldg. 2255.)

The Pediatric Clinic will be open until 10 a.m.

Beneficiaries enrolled to the Thomas Moore Health Clinic may get health care on a walk-in basis Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Bennett and West Fort Hood Clinics. Active-duty service members may use the Monroe and West Fort Hood Health Clinics for sick call beginning at 6:30 a.m.

Health Care on Veterans' Day:
The Thomas Moore Health Clinic will be open for all Active-duty call from 8 - 11 a.m.

Patient enrolled to Darnall's primary care clinics may go to the Thomas Moore Health Clinic from 8 - 10 a.m. and from 1 - 3 p.m. for acute health care problems.

The Pediatrics Clinic is open from 8 - 10 a.m. and from 1 - 3 p.m.

Internal Medicine Prime enrollees with urgent care needs should go to the Emergency Department.

Thursday, November 12, CRDAMC and all its outpatient clinics will resume normal operating hours. To cancel an appointment any time, 24/7, call
288-8888.

Darnall's Nurse Advice Line is available 24/7 by calling (254) 553-3695. Military health care beneficiaries may talk to registered nurses about urgent health issues, guidance on non-emergency situations, and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.
