The Annual Community-Wide Thanksgiving Basket Benefit is scheduled for Nov. 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Civic Center in Cove.

Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed at the above time and location only to families or individuals who are screened and referred by churches or local non-profit agencies.

Applications will be received from now until Nov. 19. Anyone may bring donations to the following location from Nov. 1 to Nov. 20.

The Refuge Corporation: 811-A Martin Luther King Jr. Dr; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m., and Wednesday, between 10 a.m. and 1 pm. Monetary donations are welcome.
