The Coryell County Bar Association hosts its quarterly meeting Friday from noon until 2:30 pm at Ranchers Restaurant in Gatesville.

The meeting is open to all attorneys and paralegals who work or reside in the central Texas area. Attorney Allen Place will present an update on legislative changes to the criminal law. Attorney Stan Schweiger will present a step-by-step analysis of competency for clients in the Code of Criminal Procedure. Both presentations have been approved for continuing legal education credit by the State Bar Association. The Coryell County Bar Association seeks to promote professional development and fellowship in the legal community.
