The Fort Hood Dolphins team, which consists mostly of children of military members is proud to announce the addition of a new head coach and assistant coach who are also military family members. Lisa Parmeter, the new Dolphins' head coach, bring years of swimming experience, including many years as West Virginia's State champion swimmer and personally achieving top eight finishes at Junior National competitions. She was a scholarship swimmer for Marymount College and later coached the team.
Paige McCord is the team's newest addition as assistant coach. She has an extensive swimming background, including swimming for one of the top 25 teams in the country and winning a myriad of swimming awards throughout high school, such as top eight finishes in the U.S. Southern Zone meets. She was a collegiate swimmer for Davidson College.
Along with these two new coaches the team welcomes back Ashley Wardlow, a former Fort Hood Dolphins and Copperas Cove Aqua Dog swimmer, who in high school qualified for regionals and still holds school records.
The team is also happy to have on board Luis Gonzalez, who provides top notch instruction for our younger swimmers, along with strength training.
The swim team continues to expand its programs by adding a Master's Swim Team. The Master's swim team is for anyone interested in swimming for physical training or competition.
