D'andra Dailey had 11 points, 11 rebounds and hit the go-ahead 3-pointer in the fourth quarter of the Palo Alto 7A Lady Patriots' 25-20 win over Liberty Hill on Thursday.

Keirra Percival added eight points and 10 rebounds for Palo Alto. Alyse Chambers also had 10 rebounds. Aamanee White had eight rebounds, and Tamira Davis was a defensive standout.

Kaitlyn Shearer scored six points to lead the defeated Lady Lions. Other scorers for Liberty Hill (0-4) were Aaliyah Smith and Timeria Roberson (four points each) and Cherstin Bohler, Amber Tucker and Malaysia Hope (two each),

The Liberty Hill seventh-graders host Smith on Thursday.

Live Oak Ridge 7A 32, Nolan 7A 22 – Deja Pointer had 13 points, six steals and seven rebounds, but the Lady Mustangs fell to unbeaten Live Oak Ridge.

Other scorers for Nolan were Miakayla Malone (10 points), Eryn Morrison (two) and Kirsten Anderson (one). Leilani Spooner and Mariah Hull were other standouts.

Eastern Hills 7A 54, Smith 7A 24 – Chamaya Turner led the Lady Panthers to victory with 27 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.

Madison McClurg added 12 points and 12 rebounds for Eastern Hills (4-0).

Laderrica Degrate and Brittney Davis were defensive standouts.

Liberty Hill 7B 14, Palo Alto 7B 6 – Talia Tunstill scored six points to lead the Lady Lions to their second straight win to start the season

Kyira Gibson, Jasmine Anderson-Brooks, Terenee Lockett-Ware and Latisha Hutton each had two points.

Ashley Flores scored all six poins for the Lady Patriots. Chandanis Banks had 18 rebounds.

Eastern Hills 7B 9, Smith 7B 2 – At Lolisa Kuewa, Hanna Klum, Nikeacha Trippet, Alexa Brown and Rebecca Foote helped the Lady Panthers limit Smith to two points in the victory.

Foote and Kulm led the scoring.

Live Oak Ridge 7B 14, Nolan 7B 10 – Ciarra Mann, Fallon Christian, Roshanda King, Kim Kraft and Jasmine Jones each scored two points for the defeated Lady Mustangs. Crystal Santiago was another standout.

Liberty Hill 8A 60, Palo Alto 8A 4 – DeMarje Coley led three players in double figures with 14 points as the unbeaten Lady Lions rolled to another win.

Shanice Davis added 11 points and Kassandra Booker tossed in 10. Other scores for Liberty Hill (4-0) were Tanequia Malden, Megan McKinnon and Britnee Polk (six each), Shalanda Hyde (five) and Starnisha Bodie (two).

Davis and Malden each had 16 steals. Booker led the team with five rebounds.

The eighth-grade Lady Lions travel to Smith on Thursday.

Nolan 8A def. Live Oak Ridge 8A – Ocleta Young helped keep the Lady Mustangs unbeaten with 24 points, 11 steals and seven rebounds.

Other scorers for Nolan (5-0) were Janiese Christopher and Frankie Johnson-Vera (six points each),

Alayshia Hunter and Alyssa Castro (four each) and Cayla Sims (one).

Rancier 8A def. Fairway 8A – Mariah Shaw scored 14 points to lead the Lady Ka-Roos to victory.

Other scorers for Rancier (4-1) were Imani Simpson (nine points) and Imari Simpson (eight).

The eighth-grade Lady Ka-Roos travel to Live Oak Ridge on Thursday.

Audie Murphy 8A 35, Union Grove 8A 26 – Raevaughn Barnes, Julyssa Little, Trea Giambalvo,

Alexis Bowman, Lille Bland and Tera Jones scored for the defeated Grizzlies (3-2).

The eighth-grade Grizzlies return to action Thursday against Fairway.

Eastern Hills 8A 40, Smith 8A 20 – Kiara Johnson-Jenskins led the Lady Panthers to a win with 23 points.

Alithea Collins added six points and eight rebounds. Jacole Harp and Khaya Calvin combined for 15 steals.

Live Oak Ridge 8B 25, Nolan 8B 12 – Irene Andry led the defeated Lady Mustangs with 15 steals, six points and four rebounds.

Other scorers for Nolan were Mariah Laponsa (four points) and Courtney Crosby (two). Maya Edinburgh and Bonny Oatis were defensive standouts.

Liberty Hill 8B 27, Palo Alto 8B 7 – Brittany Parks had a team-high seven points and four rebounds in the victory for the Lady Lions.

Other scorers for Liberty Hill were Teisha Anderson and Deidre Willis (six points each), Kenya Green (four points) and Da'Visha La'Fluer and Michelle Martinez (two each). Willis led the team with 11 steals.

Eastern Hills 8B 16, Smith 8B 2 – Pamela Purnell, Valerie Platko and Symphony Shabazz each had four points to led the Lady Panthers to victory.

Alexandria Polanco contributed five steals and four rebounds.

Union Grove 8B 22, Audie Murphy 8B 16 – Savannah Carr led the Grizzlies to a win with seven points.

Other scorers for Union Grove (2-2) were Katelyn Dawson (six points), Olivia Mile (five) and LaBrittany Mitchel (two).

BOYS (Jan. 16)

Nolan 7B 27, Fairway 7B 7 – Peter Wilson led a balanced scoring effort in the Mustangs victory with eight points.

Other scorers for Nolan were Davion Tate (five points) and Javarious Mabry and Demsond Lewis-Anderson (four each). The defense was led by Aaron Turk, Chris Cormier, Franklin Blanche and Chan Lee.

Nolan 7A 37, Fairway 7A 26 – Henry King had 17 points, eight steals, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Mustangs to a win.

Buda McIntyre contributed eight points, six steals and four assists. Tyler Bark, Derek Brooks, James Morgan and Chris Edwards were defensive standouts.

Liberty Hill 7B 22, Manor 7B 21 – Caleb Holl scored eight points and the Lions held off second-half comeback by Manor.

Other scorers for Liberty Hill (2-1) were D'arion Wilson (five points), Nathaniel Charles (four), Kahlil Kimble (three) and Miguel Garcia (two).

Forward James Cloud scored all 12 of his points in the second half and the defeated Rams nearly erased a 17-4 halftime deficit.

Vicareous Wright added four points and Alan Gasden, Rolondo Boone and Marcus Turner also scored to pull Manor within one with 10 seconds remaining.

Liberty Hill 7A 36, Manor 7A 12 – Rasheed Dasheel scored 17 points to lead the Lions to a victory.

Other scorers for Liberty Hill (3-1) were Tyron Maynand and Tyrel Stokes (six points each), Julian Harvey, Garrett McPherson, Darius Debaldeleben and Melvin Pernell (two each) and Robert Edwards (one).

Thomas Barnes and Kieth Gipson each had three points for the defeated Rams. Demarcus Richardson, Arthur McIntosh and DaJour Jamison also scored.

Manor's seventh-graders return to action Jan. 28 at home against Palo Alto.
