Obituaries

Marjorie J. McDonough
Marjorie "Marge" J. McDonough, 80, of Blue Springs, Mo., loving mother and grandmother, passed away Nov. 4, 2009, at the Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th St., Kansas City, Mo. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The rosary will be at 6 p.m.

Marjorie was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was raised and educated in the Kansas City area and graduated from Westport High School. Marjorie was loved by all who met her. Her gift of story telling will be greatly missed along with her sense of humor and kindness. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She touched a lot of lives and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Salvatore Sivigliano; children, Kathleen Stewart, Michael McDonough, Patricia Wright (Tom), Karen Maslanka (Tracy); grandchildren, Billy, Sean, Virgil, James, Michelle, Ian, Brianna, Octavio, Rebekah, Sasha and Makayla; four sisters, Marilyn Radford, Virginia Mangis, Virginia Allen and Margaret Shanahan; two brothers, Tom Langley and Kenneth Langley; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends, especially her IRS buddies.

We will love and cherish the memories of our Mom and Nani.

Patricia and Tom, I am so sorry to hear about Marjories passing. This news comes as such a surprise to me. I always enjoyed when she came into the dental office, she was ALWAYS so kind and funny. God Bless your family...
