Killeen police arrested two men suspected of illegal drug activity in separate incidents over the weekend.

Killeen police said one man was in possession of 6.8 grams of suspected PCP, found after he was was booked in city jail Friday.

Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke arraigned Carlos Santon Montez, 26, of Killeen, Saturday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams. Cooke set his bond at $50,000.

While inventorying a man's property during a booking, police noticed a bottle with a liquid substance in it, an arrest affidavit stated.

Police then field-tested the substance, and it came back positive for phencyclidine, the affidavit stated.

In the second incident, a man was arrested after a traffic stop Saturday night. He is suspected of carrying more than 16 grams of ecstasy after claiming he had marijuana.

Cooke arraigned Dennis Edward Allgood, 22, of Harker Heights, on Monday on a charge of possession of controlled substance more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams with intent to deliver.

Police officers pulled over a vehicle driven by a Harker Heights man in the 800 block of Aveune I on Saturday, an arrest affidavit stated. The officers asked the man if he had anything illegal in his vehicle and the man confessed to having "a small sack of weed."

Police then searched the man's vehicle and discovered scales, packaging material, marijuana packaged for sale and some pills, the affidavit stated.

After a field test of the pills, they tested positive of ecstasy, the affidavit stated.

The man later confessed that he was going to sell both the marijuana and the pills, the affidavit stated.

Other area police reports indicated:

A home in the 700 block of Hill Street in Copperas Cove was reported burglarized at 4:06 p.m. Sunday. Two windows were broken and two video game consoles and some cash were stolen from residents. The cost of damage and stolen items was about $885.

A firearm was stolen from the 1600 block of Pima Trail in Harker Heights between 12:01 a.m. Wednesday and 11:14 a.m. Friday.

A felony theft occurred in the 1000 block of East Farm-to-Market 2410 between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8:41 a.m. Friday. A gas-powered cement mixer was stolen.

A home in the 1100 block of Indian Trail in Harker Heights was burglarized between 12:30 and 4 p.m. Friday.

A resisting-arrest incident occurred in the 300 block of West Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Harker Heights about 12:47 a.m. Saturday.
