Wedding announcements are published free of charge, on a space available basis, in the Sunday edition of the Killeen Daily Herald. Wedding announcements are not available online.
Customers may request up to five free tear sheets of the announcement and additional tear sheets may be purchased through the Herald's circulation department. Call (254) 501-7400 for details.
All announcements are run on a space-available basis, according to the date of the event. If an announcement must be published on a specific date, an ad can purchased by calling (254) 501-7521/7500 or by faxing the information to (254) 200-7632.
Announcements for weddings are published in the Sunday edition a week after the event has taken place.
Wedding forms are due by 5 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to a Sunday publication date, space permitting.
Wedding announcements may be published with or without a photograph of the bride only. Please attach photos as JPG files.
A color photograph can be used, but for best results, submit a black and white studio photograph with a plain background. The photo size can be either a 2–by 3–inch or a 5–by 7–inch size.
Photos and tear sheets should be picked up within five days after the information was published.
